Our Take on Siegfried
This is the SSR Wild Spirit Siegfried; a separate SR Siegfried (Elemental Echo / Wild Spirit) is rated T4. The SSR version is a fire Warrior who becomes much tougher in [Wild], gaining 30% Physical and Magic Defense from Heroic Aura and 30% Attack from Indomitable Will.
Strengths
- +Blazing Vortex deals 150% line damage plus a 300% area finish and applies ignite, which turns on his own Elemental Mastery bonus.
- +Elemental Mastery gives 14% HP and 20% more Attack against elemental-debuffed enemies, and level 7 adds 30% life steal against them.
- +Flamecleave's 120% area pillars apply defense down for the whole team to exploit.
- +Level 4 restores 30% of lost HP whenever an elemental reaction occurs.
Weaknesses
- โHis defensive and Attack boosts are all tied to [Wild], and the SSR kit does not say how he enters it.
- โFlamecleave sacrifices 10% current HP each cast.
- โOn paper the SR Siegfried's Scorching Valor lists a larger elemental Attack bonus (29%) than this version's 20%, so do not assume the SSR is stronger on every line.
How to Play Siegfried
Siegfried is a front-row Warrior. Open with Blazing Vortex to ignite the enemy line, which activates his 20% Attack bonus, then use Flamecleave for defense down. Once in [Wild], Heroic Aura and Indomitable Will let him stay on the front line. Level 7 is the best upgrade because the 30% life steal against ignited or chilled enemies is his main sustain. Level 4 helps in teams that reliably cause elemental reactions, and level 2 shares an attack boost with nearby allies in [Wild].
Good Teammates
- Titania (SSR) โ Titania's level 2 applies a random [Basic Elemental Debuff], keeping his Elemental Mastery and level 7 life steal active, and her Redemption always triggers on a [Wild] Siegfried.
- Siren (SR) โ Siren's level 2 Healing Hands has a 75% chance to chill, another elemental debuff for his 20% Attack bonus.
- Chiron (SR) โ Chiron's Hero Mentor gives 25% Attack Speed to allied [Wild] units, adding to Siegfried's [Wild] damage.
Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.
Should You Invest?
Siegfried (SSR) is rated T3 here, one tier above the SR version. He is a solid sustain bruiser in elemental Wild Spirit teams once talent level 7 is unlocked, but not a priority outside that archetype.
