Our Take on Chiron
Chiron is an SR Priest who mixes burst healing with tempo buffs. All or Nothing consumes 30% of a chosen ally's current HP, grants that ally [Morale], then heals them and nearby allies for 600 + 24% of Chiron's Max HP. Pegasus Guard channels for 5 seconds to heal the lowest-HP ally for 35% of his Max HP, and at battle start Light Orb Bond gives the highest-Attack ally an orb that fires for 80% of that ally's Attack whenever they attack or cast.
Strengths
- +All or Nothing hands out [Morale], which helps allies who need [Morale] and [Fervor] for [Grace].
- +Hero Mentor gives allies in [Wild] 25% Attack Speed while he is on the field, and talent level 4 adds 25% more Attack Speed to a [Battle Bond] target in [Wild].
- +Light Orb Bond adds damage worth 80% of your strongest ally's Attack each time they attack or cast, with no setup.
Weaknesses
- โAll or Nothing removes 30% of the chosen ally's current HP before healing, which is risky on a fragile target.
- โThe text does not define [Battle Bond] or [Blessing Buff], so Eternal Devotion's extra 20% healing and the talent level 2 and 4 effects are unclear.
How to Play Chiron
Keep Chiron in the back row. Use All or Nothing on an ally who has HP to spare and needs [Morale], ideally one standing near other injured allies so the follow-up heal spreads. Pegasus Guard is a 5-second channel, so cast it before heavy damage lands rather than after. Talent level 7 is a meaningful upgrade because All or Nothing then dispels every debuff from the chosen target. Level 3's 15% HP raises all of his healing, since his heals scale on Max HP.
Good Teammates
- Grimnir (SR) โ Grimnir gains Rage when HP decreases, so All or Nothing's 30% HP cost speeds his entry into [Wild], where Hero Mentor adds 25% Attack Speed to his Momentum Builder ramp.
- Nessus (SR) โ All or Nothing gives Nessus the [Morale] she lacks for [Grace], the HP cost builds her Rage, and Hero Mentor adds Attack Speed on top of her 90% in [Wild].
- Goren (SSR) โ Goren makes his own [Fervor]; the [Morale] from All or Nothing lets him enter [Grace] and keep maximum size.
Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.
Should You Invest?
Chiron is an SR rated T2 here, so he is a sensible build for teams that use [Morale] or [Wild]. His value is in enabling other units rather than raw healing numbers, so he is best when paired with someone who wants [Morale] or Attack Speed.
