Our Take on Caligula
Caligula is an SR Priest who layers area healing, a Totem and emergency shields, with extra value for allies in [Wild]. Arcane Arts creates a magic field that grants [Adrenaline] and heals allies in a large area for 700 + 18% of her Max HP, 50% more on [Wild] targets. Sacred Blessing shields the lowest-HP ally for 21% of her Max HP and also auto-casts the first time each ally enters [Wild].
Strengths
- +Restorative Rite makes every heal also recover 5% of the target's lost HP, which adds the most to badly injured allies.
- +Ancestral Glory's Totem heals the two lowest-HP allies for 7% of her Max HP every 2.5 seconds for 3 heals, adding healing without extra casts.
- +Unstable Amplification gives her 30% Damage Reduction against melee attackers, and talent level 7 gives allied [Wild] units 20% Damage Reduction against melee characters.
Weaknesses
- โMuch of her extra value (50% stronger Arcane Arts, Sacred Blessing auto-casts, level 7) only applies to [Wild] allies, so it is reduced in teams without them.
- โThe text does not explain what [Adrenaline] does, and the Totem expires after only 3 heals.
How to Play Caligula
Keep Caligula in the back row. Arcane Arts is her main heal, so cast it when several allies are hurt and inside the large area; each time it ends she gains 1 [Deathrattle], which boosts her healing by 2% per stack from talent level 2. Sacred Blessing works best saved for spikes, though it also triggers on its own as allies first enter [Wild]. Talent level 2 is an early priority because it gives her a self-made healing ramp. Level 4 adds [Physical Defense Up] to Sacred Blessing, and level 7 is strongest against melee-heavy enemies.
Good Teammates
- Grimnir (SR) โ Grimnir's Valor's Cry drops his HP sharply and builds Rage toward [Wild], so he benefits from Restorative Rite's lost-HP healing and Arcane Arts' 50% [Wild] bonus.
- Eurytion (SR) โ Eurytion is a [Wild] front-liner who spends HP on Ragecrash; Caligula's level 7 20% melee Damage Reduction and her [Wild] auto-shield both apply to him.
- Drasill (SSR) โ Sacred Blessing's shield on a [Wild] Drasill meets his Root Juice condition of being shielded and in [Wild], enabling 2% Max HP regeneration per second.

Should You Invest?
Caligula is an SR but rated T2 on this site, which makes her one of the more reasonable SR investments, especially for Wild Spirit teams. Talent level 2 gives her a healing ramp of her own, and level 7 is worth aiming for if you often face melee-heavy lineups.
Caligula FAQ
- Is Caligula good outside [Wild] teams?
- She still heals with Arcane Arts, the Totem and Restorative Rite, but the 50% Arcane Arts bonus, the Sacred Blessing auto-casts and her level 7 talent all require [Wild] allies.
- How does Caligula gain [Deathrattle]?
- Arcane Arts grants her 1 [Deathrattle] when its effect ends, and from talent level 2 each allied defeat grants one too. Each stack raises her healing by 2% at talent level 2.
