Our Take on Arthur
Arthur is an SSR Warrior whose kit revolves around [Fervor] and the [Grace] state. Sword of the Covenant is his main area hit, gaining 35% damage from Punishment triggers and rising to 560% Attack in [Grace], while every [Fervor] he gains turns into a shield for himself and a [Fervor] gift for an ally.
Strengths
- +Fervor Shield grants a 120% Attack shield for 6 seconds whenever he gains [Fervor], and also gives [Fervor] to a random ally (two ally Luminaries at level 2).
- +In [Grace], Sword of the Covenant expands its range and reaches 560% Attack; at level 4 it cannot be dodged or blocked in that state.
- +Excalibur's Awakening hits a massive area when he enters [Grace] and increases enemy Overdrive costs.
- +Level 7 silences targets holding 7+ Overdrive energy for 10 seconds.
Weaknesses
- โBladestorm's [Fervor] chance is only 8% per strike, so his shield and ally [Fervor] supply are inconsistent.
- โMuch of his damage depends on [Grace], and his own kit provides [Fervor] but no clear source of [Morale].
- โSeveral skills lack base numbers in the in-game text (Bladestorm's damage, the high-energy scaling on Sword of the Covenant), which makes his output hard to evaluate.
How to Play Arthur
Arthur is a front-row Warrior. Bladestorm is his filler and [Fervor] generator; each gain shields him and spreads [Fervor] to allies, which helps Sanctum Glory teammates reach [Grace]. Save Sword of the Covenant for when Punishment can trigger or when he is in [Grace]. Level 2 is the first priority because it doubles the ally [Fervor] supply, level 4 makes his [Grace] Overdrive reliable, and level 7 adds a long silence against enemies sitting on high energy.
Good Teammates
- Guna (SSR) โ Guna's Iron Bulwark Shock grants [Morale] (large area at level 4) while Arthur supplies [Fervor], covering both halves of [Grace] for each other.
- Brynhild (SSR) โ Brynhild's Radiance Battlefield grants [Morale] to nearby allies, the half of [Grace] Arthur cannot produce himself.
- Van Helsing (SSR) โ Van Helsing's Grenade triggers Punishment, which is the condition for Sword of the Covenant's 35% damage increase; the text does not say whether Arthur must trigger it himself.

Should You Invest?
Arthur is SSR and rated T3 on this site, so treat him as a situational Sanctum Glory piece rather than a priority. He is worth building mainly if you already run [Grace] teams that need an extra [Fervor] source.
Arthur FAQ
- Is Arthur worth building?
- Only in [Grace] compositions. He is rated T3 on this site, and his main contribution is [Fervor] sharing, which helps Sanctum Glory allies reach [Grace].
- How does Arthur get Grace?
- His kit generates [Fervor]; based on other units' text, [Grace] requires both [Morale] and [Fervor], so he needs an ally that grants [Morale].
