Our Take on Siegfried

Siegfried is a must-build at the start because she is free, and a T4 unit later because her numbers fade in the mid to late game. Her main strength is cost: she needs no pulls and no star investment to work. The kit is self-sufficient. Infernal Wyrm sets enemies on fire along 3 paths, which switches on her talent's 29-53% Attack bonus, and Flamecleave's 15% HP cost pushes her toward Wild for the stat boost and shield. Build her early for story progress and Elemental Echo or Wild Spirit Trial Realms, then move resources to stronger units as you pull them.

Strengths

  • +She is free from the start, so she costs nothing to field while you build your roster.
  • +Infernal Wyrm applies Burn, which satisfies her own 29-53% Attack bonus against enemies with an Elemental Debuff without outside help.
  • +The Wild state adds 30-54% Attack, Physical Defense and Magic Defense, and Flamecoil then grants a shield of 180-260% of Attack for 8 seconds.
  • +Entering Wild gives nearby allies Attack Boost, and after an Elemental Reaction she restores 30% of lost HP at talent level 4.

Weaknesses

  • −Her damage and survivability fall behind in the mid to late game; she is a starter, not an endgame unit.
  • −There are no recorded top formations that use her.
  • −Her sustain from talent levels 4 and 7 needs Elemental Debuffs and Reactions, so outside Elemental teams she is a plain bruiser.

How to Play Siegfried

Siegfried plays in the front row. Open with Infernal Wyrm as soon as it is ready: the rings of fire travel along 3 paths and apply Burn to everything they touch, which turns on her talent bonus for the rest of the fight. Follow with Flamecleave, which costs 15% of current HP, hits a rectangle and applies Physical Defense Down for any physical teammates. The HP costs are how she reaches Wild. Once she is there, her stats jump and Flamecoil starts handing out a shield of 180-260% of Attack, so time Flamecoil for after she enters Wild if you are playing manually. At talent level 2 her Wild entry also gives nearby allies Attack Boost, so keeping your damage dealers close to her helps. For divinity, take Health at level 1, Elemental Attack at level 2 for 12% Attack each time she applies a Basic Elemental Debuff, Health or Anti-Crit at level 3, the Elemental defensive option of your choice at level 4, and Royal Perception at level 6, which makes Flamecleave auto-cast every 15 seconds with Physical Defense Down. In PvE she is a dependable early front line. In PvP she is listed for Holy King Contest, but only as a budget option; expect stronger Warriors to beat her once opponents invest.

Good Teammates

  • Dvalin (SSR+) – Dvalin shares Elemental Echo and Wild Spirit, and her blade shields allies when it hits a target with an Elemental Debuff, which Siegfried's Burn provides.
  • Venus (SSR EX) – Venus heals an ally for 18% of Max HP when they enter Wild or trigger an Elemental Reaction, and Siegfried does both.
  • Titania (SSR+) – Titania shares both factions and heals the lowest-HP ally when she hits enemies with an Elemental Debuff, which Siegfried keeps applied.
  • Oberonnie (SSR) – Oberonnie applies Cold across a large area with her Overdrive, so Siegfried's talent bonus applies even to enemies her fire missed.

Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.

Should You Invest?

Her star investment is listed as free at the start, and she is one of the three starters every player should build. Level and gear her for the early campaign, but do not sink rare materials into her, since she fades later. The kit recommends the Star Crystal Greatsword relic, which adds Attack and both Defenses that grow every 10 seconds she survives, and the Sword Master subclass. For gear, the Dragon Hunter Attack set pairs with Tome of Stars and Starlight Magisterium, or with the Rage set weapon pieces. Free-to-play players should treat her as a bridge to SSR+ units.

Siegfried FAQ

Is Siegfried worth building?
Yes, early. She is free, one of the three starters, and self-sufficient thanks to her own Burn. Build her for the campaign and early Trial Realms, but expect to replace her by mid game, which is why she is T4.
What are the best relic and gear for Siegfried?
The kit recommends the Star Crystal Greatsword relic and the Sword Master subclass. For gear, use the Dragon Hunter Attack set with Tome of Stars and Starlight Magisterium, or swap the weapon and accessory for the Dragonslayer Greatsword and Dragonslayer's Guide.
When should I replace Siegfried?
When you have a stronger Warrior or front-line damage dealer for your main faction. Her numbers fade in the mid to late game, so once a new unit outperforms her in your Trial Realm clears, move her resources on.
