Priority 1: collect the free SSR EX value

Three free sources stack this month:

• 7-Day Gifts. Two check-in days give the Moonlit Golden Osmanthus avatar frame, and seven days give an SSR Ex Luminary Selection. The pool only includes SSR EX units out now, so there is no reason to wait.
• Moonwatch Journal and the Lunar Store. Daily log-ins, quests and idle patrols pay Colorful Balloons. The store sells Mythic Summoning Tickets and SSR Ex Shard Selections. Spend balloons before 14 November, or they are wasted.
• Hela's shards. Goddess of Death's Memory is now sold in the Guild Auction, and 60 of them summon Hela. If your guild runs auctions, this is a slow but free path to her.

Decide your selection pick and your banner pick together so they cover different gaps. Our SSR EX pick guide has a table by account type. The short version: take Venus on the banner and Athena or Artemis from the selection.

Priority 2: the Mythical Summon

The banner unlocks after main story 9-40. Select one SSR EX for the improved rate, then pull with Mythic Summoning Tickets.

Count everything you have, tickets plus Diamonds, in units of 41 pulls before you start.

• Under 41 pulls: you are relying on luck. Unless you already own the unit and just want copies, save and spend the Lunar Store balloons first.
• 41 to 81 pulls: one guaranteed copy plus some luck. A good result for a free account.
• 82 pulls or more: enough to reach hard pity twice, which covers the two 5★ copies a 6★ needs.

The banner's own details screen shows whether progress carries into a future Mythical Summon. Check it before you stop partway through a block.

Put all your pulls into the one SSR EX you selected. The selection box already gives you a second unit, so extra copies of your banner pick are worth more than a third unit at one copy.

Priority 3: the cheap rerun and the free event copy

Featured Return (29 October to 5 November). Past limited SSR+ units get a rate-up, and there is one free 10x summon a day until 3 November 04:59. The free pull does not carry over, so log in daily. Every 10 summons also gives Stars of Joy. Its prize draw has a Golden Clover or a Renewal Coin as the grand prize in rounds 1 to 12. Pity carries over to the next Featured Return, so pulls here are never fully lost.

Superheroine in Training. Story stages give Superhero Energy for the Super Supply Hub, whose rewards include Arachne and the Captain Phantasia skin for Caesar. Your timer runs up to 30 days from when you unlock it, and ends no later than 3 December. Any unlock date up to 3 November gets the full 30 days.

Should you pull on Arachne? For most free accounts, no. She is a provisional T2, and her best lineup needs Pompey, Atanith, Lilith and Tyrfing. The Tower of Babel lends her to you, and the event offers a copy. Full reasoning is in our Arachne guide.

Priority 4: Golden Clover

Every item in the Golden Clover shop costs 60 clovers, so the only decision is the order.

The order puts damage stats ahead of survivability. Wyrmspells are third because the right one can be faction-specific; buy only those your main faction uses. Artifacts are last because Limited Treasure Hunts and Fate Horns already supply them.

Clover sources right now include Operation Serpent Hunt milestones (29 October to 5 November) and the Featured Return's Stars of Joy draw. The Magical Howlkin weekly event of 1 to 8 October also paid clovers.

Priority 5: artifacts with Fate Horns, not Diamonds

The Vajra Limited Treasure Hunt guarantees an SSR Vajra-series artifact every 25 pulls, and pity carries over. Its Diamond Blessing gives back-row allies Nectar, which makes their buffs last 25% longer and heals 30% of Max HP after they gain buffs five times. That suits buff-heavy teams such as Artemis or Vivienne lineups.

Fate Horns come from Operation Serpent Hunt's Deep Sea Treasure and from packs. For a free player, horns earned in events are enough. Because pity carries over, there is no penalty for stopping partway.

Priority 6: Temporal Rift and other free income

• Temporal Rift (to 26 November). Each stage has timed tasks, and finishing sooner earns a better reward tier. Speed-clear rewards include Fated Summoning Tickets, Fate Horns, Fated Dragon Crystals and Fate Potions. Battles are auto only this season.
• Bonus attempts. Heart Trial has 2 extra attempts a day to 3 November; Wonderland Siege gets +1 attempt per stage from 2 to 6 November; Champion Expedition gets +1 from 6 to 10 November. Use them instead of buying attempts with Diamonds.
• Maintenance compensation. The 28 October maintenance paid 300 Diamonds, as every maintenance since September has.

For light spenders: what is worth buying

If you spend a little, buy in this order:

1. Monthly and weekly subscriptions, the lifetime pass and the passes, because they pay out daily.
2. Daily special shards, for steady progress on one unit.
3. The first three packs of each banner event. This applies to Luminary, artifact and Wyrmspell banners.
4. The login raid pass that comes with each banner.
5. Step-up packs when a new system unlocks. Some list value as high as 1800% and are the best deals in the shop.
6. Pop-ups, case by case. Some are good and many are not. Judge each against what you are saving for.

This month, the SSR EX skin pack (29 October to 5 November) is one to judge on that basis. It contains 10 Mythic Summoning Tickets, 100 SSR Affection Item Chests and 1,980 Diamonds along with a choice of Athena, Poseidon, Venus or Loki skins. What not to spend Diamonds on

• Extra Arena attempts. The price rises with each purchase, and the five free daily attempts cover most players.
• Holy King Contest bets, unless you have Diamonds to spare. Returns depend on placement and how many others backed the same player.
• Spreading pulls across several banners. One unit at a useful star level beats three single copies.
• Launch-era units you no longer field. Our October 2026 meta report shows which ones fell.

Should free-to-play players pull on Arachne?

Most should not. She is a provisional T2 who needs an Illusion Veil Punishment team. The Tower of Babel lends her, and Superheroine in Training offers a copy. The Mythical Summon running at the same time is the better use of Diamonds.

41 pulls. A full cycle is 150 pulls, and each pull gives one shard.

What should I buy first with Golden Clovers?
