Heidren Skills

Ring of Judgment

S1 · Overdrive · 20s cooldown

Generates a circular ring on the spot, slashing enemies within the ring. Deals magic damage equal to 410-590% of Attack to enemies within a large circular area 2 times. The ring lasts for 6 seconds, and if enemies remain within the ring continuously for 5 seconds, all their Buff statuses are dispelled.

During the ring's duration, reduces Damage Reduction of enemies within the ring by 30%. Enemies inside the ring are attacked by Phantom once every second, with each attack dealing magic damage equal to 200-320% of Heidrun's Attack.

Mirror Judicator

S2 · Ultimate Skill · 12s cooldown

Deals magic damage equal to 700-1150% of Attack to the current target, and applies 2 stacks of Death Rattle to all Otherworld Return faction allies.

When using Mirror Judicator, if current HP percentage is greater than 70%, additionally sacrifices 40% of current HP to gain a Shield equal to 30% of Max HP for 6 seconds, randomly dispels 1 Buff from the current target, then creates a Phantom to attack the current target, dealing magic damage equal to 700-1150% of Heidrun's Attack.

When HP is reduced, Rage accumulates. Upon full Rage, enters Wild. While in Wild, reduces the cooldown of the next Mirror Judicator by 2 seconds after its use.

Purge Edict

S3 · Secret Skill

In battle, increases own MDEF by 15-24%.

When allied Summons deal damage to enemy units, there is a 15% chance to dispel one buff from the enemy unit.

If the Summon is an Elite, the dispel chance increases to 30%, and upon triggering, provides Heidrun with Healing equal to 50% of the damage dealt.

Guardian Sweep

S4 · Special Skill · 16s cooldown

Sweeps enemies within a semicircular area in front, dealing 360-540% of Attack as Magic Damage.

While in the Wild state, releasing Guardian Sweep additionally summons a Phantom to sweep, dealing 500-740% of Heidrun's Attack as Magic Damage.

When Guardian Sweep is released, both the user and the Phantom generate 100 Rage for all ally Luminaries of the Wild Spirit faction for each enemy unit damaged, and grant a Shield equal to 2.4-3.6% of Max HP to the user. Lasts 8 seconds and can stack up to 10 times.

Ranges such as 340-520% show the value at skill level 1 and at max level. Keywords are explained in the glossary.

Our Take on Heidren

Heidren is T2 and the tank to build if you run summons. Ring of Judgment is the key: for 6 seconds it lowers enemy Damage Reduction by 30%, a Phantom attacks everyone inside every second, and enemies who stay 5 seconds lose all their buffs. At talent level 7 the ring also gives her 100% more Damage Reduction and gives allied summons 100% Additional Damage and Lifesteal against targets inside. Purge Edict lets summons dispel buffs, and Elite summons also heal her. Asmodeus, Spimo and Faust are the natural partners. Outside summon teams she is a decent Guardian but nothing special, and her recommended star level is Diamond, which is a heavy ask.

Strengths

  • +Ring of Judgment lowers enemy Damage Reduction by 30% for 6 seconds and dispels all buffs from enemies who stay inside for 5 seconds.
  • +At talent level 7, allied summons deal 100% Additional Damage with 100% Lifesteal against enemies inside her ring, the main reason summon teams take her.
  • +Every active skill hit adds a stacking shield (up to 10 stacks), and above 70% HP Mirror Judicator trades 40% of current HP for a shield worth 30% of Max HP.
  • +Guardian Sweep generates 100 Rage per enemy hit for every Wild Spirit ally, which speeds the whole team into Wild.

Weaknesses

  • −Her biggest bonuses apply only to summons; without Asmodeus, Spimo or Faust, talent level 7 and Purge Edict do little.
  • −Diamond is the recommended star level, which takes 18 copies.
  • −The ring is placed on the spot and enemies must stay inside for 5 seconds to lose buffs, so mobile or knocked-back enemies escape the dispel.

How to Play Heidren

Heidren anchors the front row of an Otherworld Return summon team. In the recorded rotations she casts after the summoners, for example Asmodeus, Spimo, Loki, then Heidren, so summons are already on the field when Ring of Judgment lands. Drop the ring on the enemy front line where your summons are fighting, so the 30% Damage Reduction cut and the talent level 7 summon bonus apply to the targets they are hitting. Mirror Judicator rewards high HP: above 70% it spends 40% of current HP on a shield, strips a buff and sends a Phantom for another 700-1150% of Attack. It also gives 2 Death Rattle stacks to every Otherworld ally, which feeds Death Rattle kits such as Jing and Apollo. Talent level 2 adds a cleanse of the +1 Overdrive cost debuff from herself and one Wild Spirit ally. Losing HP builds her Rage. In Wild, Guardian Sweep summons a Phantom and gives Wild Spirit allies 100 Rage per enemy hit, which pushes Asmodeus and Jing into Wild sooner. Talent level 4 is her safety net: with 10 Death Rattle stacks and her ring active, a fatal hit becomes 5 seconds of Damage Immunity plus repeated heals, at most once every 30 seconds. In PvP, manual play helps: send Asmodeus into the enemy front line first, then follow with Heidren's ring to break it.

Good Teammates

  • Asmodeus (SSR+) – Asmodeus summons Elite Imps that fight inside Heidren's ring for the talent level 7 damage bonus, and Guardian Sweep's Rage pushes Asmodeus into Wild.
  • Spimo (SSR+) – Spimo keeps up to 4 summons attacking, and every summon hit inside the ring gets the 100% damage bonus plus Purge Edict's chance to dispel a buff.
  • Faust (SSR+) – Faust's Krul is an Elite summon that inherits all of Faust's stats, so it gets Purge Edict's 30% dispel chance and heals Heidren when it triggers.
  • Jing (SSR+) – Jing's Sword Formation boosts allied Elite summons, she shares both factions, and the Death Rattle stacks from Mirror Judicator raise her Attack and Rage.

Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.

Should You Invest?

Diamond is the recommended star level, which takes 18 copies, so treat her as a long-term project for a committed summon team. Talent level 7, the summon damage bonus, is the breakpoint that defines her. Divinity: Otherworld Block or Otherworld Crit Resist at level 2 (both fire on every Death Rattle gain), Otherworld Haste at 4, Health Enhancement or Block Enhancement at 5, and Soul Symphony at 6, worth 8% more shield per allied Elite summon. Relic: Elven Greatshield. Subclass: Templar. Gear: HP set with Longevity, or Order pieces. Free players should pull her only if Asmodeus is already built.

Heidren FAQ

Is Heidren worth pulling?
If you play an Otherworld Return summon team, yes. She is T2, and at talent level 7 her ring gives summons 100% Additional Damage and Lifesteal. Without summoners such as Asmodeus, Spimo or Faust she is an average Guardian, so other players can skip her.
What star level does Heidren need?
Diamond is recommended, which takes 18 copies. She works below that, but plan her full value as a long-term investment.
When should Heidren cast Ring of Judgment?
After your summoners. Recorded summon rotations cast Asmodeus, Spimo and Loki first, then Heidren, so the summons are already fighting inside the ring when its Damage Reduction cut and summon bonus apply.
Is Heidren good in PvP?
She rates a step lower in PvP than in PvE but still sees use. The buff dispel and the 30% Damage Reduction cut help summon teams break a front line, and aiming the ring by hand where Asmodeus has already engaged gets the most out of her.
