Our Take on Spimo

Spimo is T2 in our list and the one unit an Otherworld summon team cannot replace. Soulshatter Coffin deals 72-120% of the target's current HP in a large circle, capped by Spimo's Max HP, then copies the allied summon with the highest Attack, or the top 4 at talent node 7. Otherworldly Touch adds summons that attack, heal the lowest-HP ally and inherit Spimo's Attack Speed bonus, and Fatal Contract adds 45-77% Adaptive Damage to every summon basic attack. Both damage bonuses grow with each 10% of Attack Speed. Pair Spimo with Loki, Asmodeus and Faust, who bring the summons worth copying. Diamond rank is required, so plan for a long build.

Strengths

  • +Soulshatter Coffin copies the strongest allied summon, or the 4 strongest at talent node 7, multiplying the value of elite summons.
  • +Fatal Contract gives every allied summon basic attack 45-77% of its Attack as Adaptive Damage, plus 30% for every 10% Attack Speed bonus Spimo has.
  • +Each Otherworldly Touch summon heals the lowest-HP ally for 4.1-7.3% of Max HP per basic attack, so healing scales with summon count.
  • +Dark Nourishment permanently adds Max HP and Attack Speed whenever an allied summon dies, up to 30 stacks.

Weaknesses

  • −Without other summoners the copy effect has little to work with.
  • −Diamond rank is required, which takes 18 copies.
  • −Damage and healing both scale from Attack Speed, so the kit falls flat with the wrong gear.
  • −Soulshatter Coffin's damage is capped at 144-240% of Spimo's Max HP, which limits it against high-HP bosses.

How to Play Spimo

Spimo stays in the back row and casts after the summoners. Example summon teams cast Asmodeus, then Loki, then Spimo, because Soulshatter Coffin copies the allied summon with the highest Attack on the battlefield. Casting it before Asmodeus's elite summons are out wastes the copy. Faust's Krul, which inherits 100% of Faust's stats, is another strong copy target. Attack Speed is the stat to build. Every 10% bonus raises Soulshatter Coffin's damage by 20% and Fatal Contract's summon damage by 30%, and Otherworldly Touch summons inherit Spimo's current Attack Speed bonus. The Attack Speed gear set with the Arcane weapon and accessory reflects that. Dark Nourishment adds more Attack Speed every time an allied summon dies, so Spimo ramps through a fight. Frenzied Night Ring gives Crit Up to nearby allies and all summons, and Excitement to allies in Wild, so Wild Spirit carries like Jing gain extra value. At talent node 2, each summon attack also heals one Wild ally. For divinity, Otherworld Haste at levels 2 and 4 speeds up the rotation, and Soul Reversion at level 6 converts 25% of Soulshatter Coffin's damage into team healing. For subclass, Executor is the PvP choice to slow enemy Overdrive Point recovery at battle start, and Divine Officer is the general pick for extra Stat Buffs on healed allies.

Good Teammates

  • Loki (SSR EX) – Loki is the main carry of Spimo's summon teams and casts right before Spimo in example Overdrive orders; the two share Otherworld Return and Wild Spirit.
  • Asmodeus (SSR+) – Asmodeus opens the Overdrive order by summoning 3 elite summons with Hellfire, giving Soulshatter Coffin high-Attack targets to copy.
  • Faust (SSR+) – Faust's Krul inherits 100% of Faust's stats, which makes it a high-Attack summon for Soulshatter Coffin to copy.
  • Heidren (SSR+) – Heidren shares both factions and, at talent node 7, gives allied summons 100% Additional Damage and Lifesteal against enemies inside the Rune Ring.
  • Jing (SSR+) – Jing's Sword Formation gives elite summons 90% Crit Damage, and Spimo's Frenzied Night Ring grants Excitement to Wild allies like Jing.

Should You Invest?

Spimo is Diamond-required, which takes 18 copies, and a must-build for Otherworld summon teams. Take Otherworld Haste at divinity levels 2 and 4, Health Enhancement at 3 and 5, and Soul Reversion at 6. Gear is the Attack Speed set with the Arcane weapon and accessory. Use Divine Officer in general content and Executor in PvP. The exclusive Ring City Insignia is close to mandatory for serious summon teams: at Purple 6 every allied summon grants Spimo 2 Death Rattle stacks and restores 0.5 Overdrive Points to all allies, easing the summon team's energy shortage. Free-to-play players should only invest if they commit to the summon team.

Spimo FAQ

Is Spimo worth pulling?
Yes if you plan to run the Otherworld Return summon team with Loki and Asmodeus, since Spimo is its core. Outside summon teams most of the kit goes unused, so Spimo is a poor pick for other lineups.
What stats should Spimo build?
Attack Speed. Soulshatter Coffin gains 20% damage and Fatal Contract 30% summon damage for every 10% Attack Speed bonus, and Spimo's summons inherit that bonus. The recommended gear is the Attack Speed set with the Arcane weapon and accessory.
When should Spimo cast the Overdrive?
After the other summoners. Soulshatter Coffin copies the allied summon with the highest Attack, so example teams cast Asmodeus and Loki first and Spimo third.
Is Ring City Insignia worth it?
For summon teams, yes. It restores Overdrive Points to the team every time an ally summons, turns Attack Speed into Damage Reduction at Red 6, and at Divinity 3 gives all allies permanent Bonus Damage and Damage Reduction as allies fall.
