Jing Skills

Endless Edge

S1 · Overdrive · 18s cooldown

Deals physical damage equal to 450-770% of the caster's Attack to one target, then creates a Sword Formation around the target for 7s. Enemy units within the formation have -90% Movement Speed, and allied Elite Summons within the formation gain 90% Crit Damage. While the formation exists, each time the caster or an allied Elite Summon within the formation uses a basic attack or active skill, releases a Phantom Sword at a random enemy within the formation, dealing physical damage equal to 164-292% of the caster's Attack (prioritizes enemies not yet hit by a Phantom Sword).

Crimson Blade

S2 · Ultimate Skill · 10s cooldown

Releases 5 spinning blades at a single target, dealing total physical damage equal to 480-800% of the caster's Attack. Each blade that lands a Crit grants 1 stack of Death Rattle.

Sword Dance

S3 · Secret Skill

When HP decreases, gains Rage. When Rage is full, enters the Wild state. While in Wild, basic attacks become a consecutive launch of 5 blades, each dealing physical damage equal to 75-123% of the caster's Attack.

Ember Echo

S4 · Special Skill

During battle, increases Attack by 10-18%. Whenever an allied unit is defeated, gains 1 stack of Death Rattle. Each stack increases Attack by an additional 1.5%. Each time a stack of Death Rattle is gained, also gains 15% Rage.

Ranges such as 340-520% show the value at skill level 1 and at max level. Keywords are explained in the glossary.

Talent: Phantom Blade Pursuit

  1. Lv 1

At the start of battle, reduces Crit by half and converts the reduced Crit into Crit Damage at a rate of 1% Crit Damage for every 10 points of Crit. When the caster's basic attacks or Phantom Swords from Endless Edge land a Crit, deals additional physical damage equal to 330-600% of Attack to the Crit target, and this damage gains an additional 1,500 Crit (can trigger at most once per second on the same target).

  2. Lv 2

Each time it enters Wild state, all allied Luminaries in the Wild state gain Crit Up.

  3. Lv 3

Increases Attack by 5% and Crit by 100.

  4. Lv 4

Enemy units within the Endless Edge sword formation cannot gain any Buffs or Shields.

  5. Lv 7

Phantom Blade Pursuit Additional damage ignores 30% of the target's Physical Defense (up to 40%), and the trigger interval for the same target is reduced to 0.2 seconds.

Jing Build: Relic, Gear and Subclass

Relic

Sunpiercer Sheath SSR+ exclusive · first choice

  • Purple 6: Dispels 1 buff from the target when Phantom Blade Pursuit triggers additional damage. If the target has no buffs, additionally inflicts Stun for 1.5s. This Stun effect can trigger on the same target only once every 6s.
  • Red 6: Endless Edge removes the main target's shield and prevents them from gaining a shield for 9s (regardless of whether they are within the sword formation).
  • Divinity 3: In battle, increases Crit by 400. Phantom Blade Pursuit 's additional damage ignores an extra 15% of the target's Physical Defense if the target doesn't possess any buffs (this damage can exceed the stacking limit of Physical Defense Ignore effects).

Star Crystal Greatsword SSR · alternative

In battle, increases Attack by 14.4% and Physical Defense and Magic Defense by 14.4%. For every 10 seconds survived in this battle, additionally increases Attack by 7.2% and Physical Defense and Magic Defense by 7.2%, up to an additional 43.2%.

Our Take on Jing

Jing is in our T1. Phantom Blade Pursuit halves Jing's Crit at battle start and converts it into Crit Damage, then each crit from basic attacks or Phantom Swords adds 330-600% of Attack with 1,500 bonus Crit on the extra hit. That design gives steady damage without waiting on Overdrives. Endless Edge's Sword Formation slows enemies by 90%, gives allied elite summons 90% Crit Damage and, at talent node 4, stops enemies inside from gaining buffs or shields. That last part, plus the exclusive relic's shield removal, makes Jing a strong answer to shield-heavy tanks. The limit is focus: Jing only hits the current target. Jing fields less often than before, but stays a Diamond-required core for Wild Spirit and Otherworld summon teams.

Strengths

  • +Phantom Blade Pursuit deals 330-600% of Attack on every crit, with 1,500 bonus Crit on the extra hit, and at talent node 7 can trigger every 0.2 seconds per target.
  • +Endless Edge's Sword Formation blocks enemy buffs and shields at talent node 4 and gives allied elite summons 90% Crit Damage.
  • +Crimson Blade grants a Death Rattle stack per crit blade, and each stack adds 15% Rage, so Jing reaches Wild without needing to take damage.
  • +Entering Wild turns basic attacks into 5-blade volleys and, at talent node 2, grants Crit Up to all allies in Wild.

Weaknesses

  • −Damage is concentrated on the current target, so Jing struggles with spread-out enemies.
  • −The exclusive relic's Divinity 3 effect is treated as essential, which makes the full build expensive.
  • −Diamond rank is required, which takes 18 copies.
  • −Newer carries have taken many of Jing's old team slots.

How to Play Jing

Jing sits in the back row and fires at one target at a time. Crit gear still matters even though half of Crit converts to Crit Damage at battle start, because the follow-up hit from Phantom Blade Pursuit only triggers on crits and gives itself 1,500 extra Crit. Shadowblade Hunt at divinity level 6 raises the conversion to 1.5% Crit Damage per 10 Crit. Rage is the second resource. Each crit blade from Crimson Blade gives a Death Rattle stack, and each stack gives 15% Rage, so Jing reaches Wild through offense. In Wild, basic attacks become 5 blades each, which means many more crit chances and many more pursuit hits. Cast Endless Edge on the enemy you most need dead, especially a shielded tank or a buffed carry, since at talent node 4 enemies inside the formation cannot gain buffs or shields for its 7 seconds. In Otherworld summon teams, cast it where the elite summons are fighting: summons inside gain 90% Crit Damage and each of their attacks spawns another Phantom Sword. Example summon teams send Asmodeus into the enemy front line first and bring Jing in after. For divinity, Wild Attack Speed at level 2 and Wild Crit at level 4 fit the crit loop. In the Colosseum, the burst shortens stage times; against bosses, the steady pursuit damage adds up over a long fight.

Good Teammates

  • Asmodeus (SSR+) – Asmodeus summons elite summons, and inside Jing's Sword Formation they gain 90% Crit Damage while every summon attack adds a Phantom Sword.
  • Spimo (SSR+) – Spimo's Frenzied Night Ring grants Crit Up and gives Excitement to Wild allies, and at talent node 2 her summons also heal a Wild ally such as Jing.
  • Chiron (SSR) – Chiron gives Wild allies 25% Attack Speed and places a light orb on the highest-Attack ally, adding a magic arrow to each of Jing's many hits.
  • Venus (SSR EX) – Venus shares Wild Spirit, heals allies who enter Wild for 18% of Max HP, and appears with Jing in most Wild Spirit example teams.
  • Athena (SSR EX) – Athena opens the Overdrive order in Jing's Wild Spirit teams and taunts enemies in a large area, keeping divers off the back row.

Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.

Should You Invest?

Jing is Diamond-required, which takes 18 copies, and a must-build for Wild Spirit and Otherworld Return players. Take Wild Attack Speed at divinity level 2, Crit Enhancement at 3, Wild Crit at 4, Attack Speed Enhancement at 5 and Shadowblade Hunt at 6. Gear is the Crit set with the Penetration weapon and Judgment accessory. Bounty Hunter is the subclass: a 10-second Frenzy every 30 seconds adds 160-187% Attack Speed, though it also drains 2% of Max HP per second and Silences Jing. The exclusive Sunpiercer Sheath dispels buffs and removes shields, and its Divinity 3 effect is the real target; until then, Star Crystal Greatsword is the listed fallback. Free-to-play Wild Spirit players should prioritise Jing.

Jing FAQ

Is Jing still good in October 2026?
Yes. Jing is in our T1 and remains the Wild Spirit main carry, though newer units have taken some of Jing's team slots. The Sword Formation's buff and shield block and the crit follow-up damage still make Jing strong against tanky targets and bosses.
Jing or Apollo?
Apollo has the higher single-target ceiling and is often called Jing's upgrade, but Apollo is an SSR EX rated for big spenders and leads Sanctum Glory teams. Jing is the better pick if you play Wild Spirit or Otherworld summon teams.
Do I need Jing's exclusive relic?
For top-end play, yes, and specifically its Divinity 3 effect, which adds 400 Crit and extra Physical Defense ignore against buffless targets. Before that, Star Crystal Greatsword is the listed alternative.
Why does Jing appear in summon teams?
Inside the Endless Edge formation, allied elite summons gain 90% Crit Damage and each of their attacks spawns a Phantom Sword. With Asmodeus, Spimo and Loki filling the field, Jing turns those summons into extra burst.
