Marylis
Overview
Marylis is the resurrection specialist of Dragon Traveler, providing unmatched survivability through her ability to revive fallen allies and cleanse debilitating debuffs. As a T1 Priest from Sanctum Glory, she enables high-risk aggressive strategies by giving teams a second chance when things go wrong. Marylis excels in PvP where a timely resurrection can turn a losing battle into victory, and in challenging PvE content where one death could wipe the team. Her cleanse utility makes her invaluable against debuff-heavy enemies.

Skills & Abilities
Divine Resurrection
Active UltimateMarylis channels divine power, instantly reviving all dead allies at 50% HP and 500 energy. All allies (alive and revived) gain +80% ATK and immunity to crowd control for 12 seconds.
Special Effect: This is the strongest comeback mechanic in the game. If your entire team dies except Marylis, she can ult to bring everyone back at 50% HP with 500 energy, allowing them to immediately cast ultimates. The 12-second CC immunity prevents re-lockdown.
Strategy: Save Divine Resurrection for critical moments when 2+ allies are dead or about to die. The +80% ATK buff turns revived allies into unstoppable damage dealers for 12 seconds. Use this window to turn the tide of battle.
Purifying Light
Passive Cleanse AuraEvery 8 seconds, Marylis cleanses all debuffs from the ally with the most negative effects. If that ally has 3+ debuffs, also cleanse 1 debuff from all other allies.
Special Effect: This counters debuff-heavy teams like Gullveig (anti-heal), Atanith (silence), Poseidon (freeze). Against a team applying 5+ debuffs, Marylis constantly cleanses, effectively negating enemy crowd control and utility.
Strategy: Position Marylis to survive long enough to cleanse multiple rounds. The 8-second frequency means in a 1-minute fight, Marylis cleanses 7-8 times, removing 20+ total debuffs from the team.
Guardian Angel
Passive Auto-ReviveThe first time an ally dies, they are automatically revived after 3 seconds at 30% HP. This effect has a 45-second cooldown and can trigger on each ally once per fight.
Strategy: This passive acts as insurance against burst assassins. If Hades blinks to your healer and kills them, Guardian Angel revives them 3 seconds later. Against PvP burst teams, this can save your entire strategy by bringing back key characters.
Why This Tier?
- ✓Auto-Revive: Resurrects fallen allies automatically, providing second chances in critical moments
- ✓Debuff Cleanse: Removes negative effects like silence, anti-heal, stun, and freeze from entire team
- ✓ATK Buff Support: Provides massive +80% ATK buff to entire team for 12 seconds
- ✓Sanctum Glory Synergy: Perfect faction match with Athena, Hades, Gabriel, Scheherazade, and Ares
- ✓PvP Insurance: Acts as safety net allowing aggressive plays without fear of team wipes

+30: When Marylis casts Divine Resurrection, extend ATK buff duration to 20 seconds (from 12 seconds)

Counters & Weaknesses
Hard Counters
- Burst Focus Fire: If enemies focus and instantly kill Marylis before she can ult, the team loses resurrection capability. Assassins like Hades can one-shot Marylis if she's not protected.
- Silence: Atanith silencing Marylis prevents Divine Resurrection cast, negating her primary value.
- Overkill Damage: If allies die from massive overkill (taking 200% HP damage), even Guardian Angel can't save them.
Soft Counters
- • Anti-Heal: Gullveig's heal block doesn't stop resurrection but can prevent allies from healing after revive
- • CC Chains: Multiple stuns can lock Marylis preventing ultimate cast
- • Execution: Gabriel executing low HP Marylis before she can revive

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Marylis better than Scheherazade?
Different roles. Scheherazade prevents deaths through healing and energy (proactive). Marylis fixes deaths through resurrection and cleanse (reactive). BEST strategy: Use BOTH together for unkillable teams. Scheherazade keeps team healthy, Marylis revives anyone who dies anyway.
Does Guardian Angel work if Marylis is dead?
NO. Guardian Angel only works while Marylis is alive. If Marylis dies first, no auto-revive. This is why positioning and protection (Athena's Life Link) are critical. Keep Marylis alive at all costs.
How does the revive energy work?
Divine Resurrection revives allies at 500 energy (50% of 1000 needed for ultimate). Combined with Scheherazade's energy generation or natural regen, revived allies can cast ultimates within 5-8 seconds of resurrection. This creates massive comeback potential.
What's the minimum investment?
6-Star (2 copies) with purple HP gear and level 8 skills is functional. However, Marylis benefits from heavy investment - at 10-Star (Red 1) with artifact +30 and 400k HP, she becomes nearly impossible to kill, provides 160k shields on revive, and maintains +80% ATK buff for 20 seconds.
