Dragon Traveler 2026 Release Timeline: Every Luminary and Event

Quick answer: In 2026 the global server added a new limited Luminary roughly every two weeks. Gabriel opened the year on 16 January, and Arachne is the latest, from 22 October. The other milestones were Apollo's Mythical Summon (5 February), Loki (30 April), the half-anniversary (9 July), Prometheus (3 September), a new Temporal Rift season (1 October) and the 29 October Mythical Summon, which lets you choose any SSR EX. The dated table below lists only releases we could confirm for the global server.

How to read this timeline

Dates are global-server dates. For January to September, the windows are those of the themed event that came with each Luminary; the limited summon ran over the same period. From September we also have the maintenance announcements, which give exact banner windows. A few current Luminaries, among them Artemis, Hela, Thor, Heidren, Dvalin, Ningrose and Orion, are not in the table because we could not confirm their global start date. We will add them when we can.

What changed. Gabriel and Apollo gave Sanctum Glory a real damage core. Vivienne arrived on 29 January and is still T1. Her possession grants a carry a shield, extra Attack and control immunity, which weakened Silence-based PvP teams built around Atanith. Pompey became the main Arcane Wisdom and Illusion Veil tank, and Azure Dragon the go-to shield support for almost any team. Jing gave Wild Spirit a backline carry whose damage does not depend on Overdrives, the first of several 2026 arrivals that left Marylis behind.

What changed. Loki, Spimo and Asmodeus arrived within three weeks of each other and created the Otherworld Return summon team. Vermilion Bird gave Elemental Echo a Burn carry who revives through Egg Form. Caesar and Xuanwu raised the bar for tanks: Caesar blocks projectiles and survives lethal damage, and Xuanwu turns her team shields into damage. Talos is now T0 and fits any Wild Spirit or Arcane Wisdom team, because she keeps cutting her allies' Overdrive cooldowns.

What changed. Morgana is the single biggest change of the year. Her Overdrive adds Cold whenever an ally applies Burn or Shock, which lets Elemental Echo trigger reactions on demand. She is T0 today. Mimir and Rin added depth to Sanctum Glory, with Rin as the key partner for Apollo. Hitomi links to an ally so the two gain 15% of each other's Attack and defences, and she works in both Sanctum Glory and Wild Spirit.

What changed. Prometheus steals a target's Attack, defences and Crit, and cuts every enemy's Crit Damage, which made her a natural counter to crit carries. Lilith became the hub of Wild Spirit and a strong pick for Illusion Veil. Her Echo of Pain turns allied hits into extra damage on every marked enemy. She is T1 today. Salome is a dodge tank who rewards Shock, which suits Elemental Echo.

What changed. The 30 September update added exclusive relics for four Luminaries, which strengthened Elemental Echo in particular, since three of the four relic holders (Vermilion Bird, Zagreus and Orion) play there. The new Temporal Rift season is auto battle only, so kits that need manual timing are worth less there until 26 November.

Himiko binds two enemies so damage on one also hits the other, and fits Wild Spirit and Arcane Wisdom. Arachne is a Wild Spirit and Illusion Veil mage who stacks Web, cocoons her target and then transforms with free Overdrives. Her early read is T2. The 29 October update fixed a bug where her Overdrive could cause battle errors.

The Tower of Babel Trial appeared with both new banners. Its towers follow the featured Luminary's factions, and from floor 16 each floor needs two different teams of the faction. It lends you the featured unit if you do not own her.

Patterns worth planning around

• Limited SSR+ summons mostly run for two weeks. In October each new one started the moment the previous one ended, so if you skip a banner the next one is rarely more than 14 days away.
• Reruns come as Featured Returns. Four past limited units at a time were rated up in September and early October, and the 29 October Featured Return covers past limited SSR+ units in general.
• SSR EX units come through Mythical Summons. The Apollo and Prometheus banners each featured three other SSR EX units alongside the new one. Keep Mythic Summoning Tickets for these.
• Maintenance pays 300 Diamonds. Every maintenance since September has done so, usually a day before a banner starts.

When did Arachne come out in Dragon Traveler?

Arachne's limited summon started on 22 October 2026 at 05:00 (UTC-5) and runs until 5 November at 04:59. She is also a reward in the Superheroine in Training event, which runs until 3 December.

When is the next Mythical Summon?

The current one runs from 29 October to 12 November 2026 and offers all eleven SSR EX Luminaries. No later Mythical Summon had been announced when we published this.

Is Lilith a rerun?

No. Lilith's 10 September banner was a new limited summon, and she was not added to the standard pool afterwards.

When does the current Temporal Rift season end?

The season that began on 1 October runs until 26 November 2026 at 04:59 (UTC-5). Stages are auto battle only this season.

Why are some Luminaries missing from the timeline?

We only list global-server dates we could confirm. Units such as Artemis, Hela, Thor, Heidren, Dvalin, Ningrose and Orion are on the global server, but we have not confirmed when each first arrived.
