Skills & Abilities

Infernal Blaze

Active Ultimate
Energy: 1000Cooldown: 14 seconds

Ifrit unleashes hellfire, dealing 380% Magic DMG to the primary target and applying 3 stacks of [Burn]. Burn deals 60% Magic DMG per second per stack and lasts indefinitely until cleansed or the target dies.

Special Effect: Burn stacks are permanent and unlimited. A target with 20 burn stacks takes 1200% Magic DMG per second (60% × 20 = 1200%). In a 3-minute boss fight, Ifrit can apply 40+ stacks, resulting in 2400%+ DPS from burns alone.

Strategy: Focus all ultimates on a single target to maximize burn stacks. In boss fights, Ifrit's damage starts low but becomes unstoppable after 30-60 seconds when burn stacks reach critical mass.

Flame Amplification

Passive Burn Damage Amp

For each stack of [Burn] on an enemy, Ifrit's Magic ATK increases by 2% against that target (stacks up to 50 times for 100% Magic ATK bonus).

Special Effect: This creates a feedback loop: more burns = more Magic ATK = stronger new burns. At 25 burn stacks, Ifrit has doubled his Magic ATK against that target, and the next ultimate applies even stronger burns.

Strategy: This passive makes Ifrit scale exponentially. Early game, he deals moderate damage. Late in fights (50+ burn stacks), Ifrit becomes the highest DPS character in the game, often dealing 40-60% of total team damage.

Eternal Flame

Passive Burn Persistence

Burn effects applied by Ifrit cannot be reduced by Tenacity or duration reduction effects. Additionally, when Ifrit dies, all active burns continue for 30 more seconds at 50% effectiveness.

Strategy: This makes Ifrit extremely valuable in boss content where he might die mid-fight. Even dead, his burns continue dealing massive damage, ensuring his DPS contribution persists throughout the entire encounter.

Why This Tier?

  • ✓Burn Stacking: Applies permanent burn debuffs that stack infinitely, dealing exponential damage
  • ✓Boss Killer: Dominates single-target prolonged fights with sustained DPS that outscales burst characters
  • ✓Faction Synergy: Elemental Echo provides magic damage amplification and energy generation
  • ✓Guild Boss MVP: Consistently ranks #1 damage dealer in guild content due to burn scaling
  • ✓Self-Sufficient: Burn damage continues even if Ifrit dies, making him resilient in extended fights

Stat Priorities & Gear

Best-in-Slot Gear

Eternal Inferno Set (4-piece)

2-piece: +15% Magic ATK

4-piece: DoT effects deal 25% increased damage. Burn duration increased by 5 seconds (irrelevant for Ifrit's permanent burns, but boosts initial damage)

Stats Priority

1.
Magic ATK%- Scales both initial damage and burn tick damage
2.
Speed- More ults = more burn stacks = exponential scaling
3.
Energy Regen- Reduces ultimate cooldown, critical for burn stacking
4.
Crit Rate- 50-70% (secondary to Magic ATK and Speed)
5.
HP%- Survivability to maximize uptime in long fights

Artifact: Phoenix Heart

+0: Infernal Blaze applies +1 additional burn stack (3 → 4)

+20: Burn damage increased by 40% (60% → 84% per stack per second)

+30: When an enemy reaches 20 burn stacks, trigger [Combustion]: Deal 2000% Magic DMG and reset all burn stacks to 5

Priority: Rush to +20 for the 84% burn damage - this is a massive 40% damage increase. At +30, Combustion adds burst damage windows every ~90 seconds in boss fights, resetting stacks but dealing enormous instant damage.

Counters & Weaknesses

Hard Counters

  • Cleanse Support: Priests like Ophelia can cleanse burn stacks, completely resetting Ifrit's damage. This is devastating in PvP where Ifrit can't ramp up.
  • Burst Teams: Hades, Gabriel, or other burst characters can kill Ifrit before he stacks enough burns to matter. Ifrit needs 30+ seconds to become threatening.
  • Anti-Magic Shields: Abilities that prevent magic damage application stop burns from being applied.

Soft Counters

  • • High Magic Resistance: Reduces burn tick damage significantly
  • • Healing: Strong healers can outheal burn damage early before stacks reach critical mass
  • • Short Fights: If the fight ends in under 20 seconds, Ifrit barely contributes

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ifrit good for PvP?

Ifrit is mediocre in PvP. Most PvP fights end in 15-30 seconds, which isn't enough time for burns to stack. He's vulnerable to burst assassins and cleanse support. Ifrit excels in PvE boss content (Guild Boss, Raids, Campaign bosses) where fights last 2+ minutes.

How do burns work exactly?

Each burn stack deals 60% Magic ATK per second (84% with artifact +20). Stacks are permanent and unlimited. Example: 10 stacks = 600% damage per second. 30 stacks = 1800% damage per second. In a 3-minute fight, you can reach 50+ stacks for 3000%+ DPS.

Should I build Speed or Magic ATK first?

Magic ATK first until 28k+ base, then add Speed. Magic ATK scales burn damage directly. Speed allows more frequent ultimates (more burn applications). The optimal ratio is 70% Magic ATK gear, 30% Speed/Energy Regen gear.

What's the minimum investment for Ifrit?

Ifrit needs 6-Star (2 copies) with purple Magic ATK gear and level 8 skills to function. However, he truly dominates at 10-Star (Red 1) with artifact +20. Unlike burst characters, Ifrit's value increases exponentially with fight duration - invest heavily if you focus on guild content.
