Talos Skills
Directive: Annihilate
S1 · Overdrive · 20s cooldownDeals magic damage equal to 510-710% of the caster's Attack to enemies within a large circular area. Recovers 20% Rage for each active Mech Sphere.
For every 5 Mech Spheres activated, reduces Overdrive Energy Cost by 1, up to 2.
Directive: Attack
S2 · Ultimate Skill · 9s cooldownLaunches a Mech Sphere at a random target, dealing magic damage equal to 115-195% of the caster's Attack to enemies along the path. Upon reaching the target location, deals magic damage equal to 230-390% of the caster's Attack in a medium circular area.
Each time an allied unit uses an Overdrive, gains 1 stack of Awakening. When casting this skill, consuming 4 stacks of Awakening enhances the skill and places 2 additional inactive Mech Spheres.
Directive: Recharge
S3 · Secret Skill · 15s cooldownReduces the Overdrive Cooldown of one random allied Luminary, excluding the caster, by 4.5-6.1 seconds.
Directive: Shield
S4 · Special Skill · 17s cooldownGrants a Shield equal to 330-570% of the caster's Attack to the allied Luminary with the highest Rage, excluding the caster, and grants Crit Up. The Shield lasts 8 seconds and restores 14% Rage per second while active.
Ranges such as 340-520% show the value at skill level 1 and at max level. Keywords are explained in the glossary.
Talent: Directive: Standby
- Lv 1
At the start of battle, places 3 inactive Mech Spheres near the enemy Luminary with the highest Attack. During the battle, an additional inactive Mech Sphere is placed each time the caster uses a skill.
When HP decreases, gains Rage. When Rage is full, enters Wild, activating all inactive Mech Spheres for 5 seconds. While activated, Mech Spheres attack the nearest enemy every 0.5 seconds, each dealing magic damage equal to 90-138% of the caster's Attack.
- Lv 2
The activation duration of Mech Spheres is extended to 8 seconds.
- Lv 3
Increases Attack by 5% and Haste by 5.
- Lv 4
Directive: Shield and Directive: Recharge also apply their effects to the caster.
- Lv 7
Directive: Recharge is immediately released at the start of battle. The first release always targets the allied Luminary with the highest Skill Haste, excluding the caster.

Our Take on Talos
Talos is T0 because she speeds up her whole team while hitting hard. Directive: Recharge takes 4.5-6.1 seconds off an ally's Overdrive cooldown every 15 seconds, and from talent level 7 the first cast fires at battle start on your highest Skill Haste ally. Directive: Shield gives the ally with the most Rage a large shield that restores 14% Rage per second, pushing Wild Spirit units into Wild. Her Mech Spheres start the battle parked next to the enemy's highest-Attack Luminary and activate when she enters Wild, which is how she deletes backlines. Every 5 spheres activated cut her Overdrive cost by 1, up to 2. She needs Diamond to reach her full value, so she is a long-term commitment.
Strengths
- +Directive: Recharge cuts a random ally's Overdrive cooldown by 4.5-6.1 seconds, and talent level 7 fires it at battle start on your highest Skill Haste ally.
- +Directive: Shield grants a shield worth 330-570% of her Attack plus Crit Up, and restores 14% Rage per second, a fast route into Wild for the target.
- +Her opening Mech Spheres sit beside the enemy's highest-Attack Luminary; once she enters Wild, each sphere hits the nearest enemy every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds (8 at talent level 2).
- +Directive: Annihilate recovers 20% Rage per active sphere and costs up to 2 less Energy, so her Overdrive comes early and cheap.
Weaknesses
- −Diamond is listed as required for her full value, which takes 18 copies.
- −After the first cast, Directive: Recharge picks a random ally, so you cannot choose who gets the cooldown cut.
- −Her damage waits on Wild: until her Rage fills, the Mech Spheres stay inactive, and before talent level 4 her own shield does not help her get there.
How to Play Talos
Talos plays from the back row. With talent level 7, the ally with the highest Skill Haste gets the first Directive: Recharge at battle start, so give Haste to the carry whose Overdrive you want back soonest. Her Mech Spheres are placed automatically near the enemy's highest-Attack Luminary, plus one more each time she uses a skill. They only attack once she enters Wild, which needs full Rage. Talent level 4 matters here: Directive: Shield and Directive: Recharge also apply to Talos herself, so she gets 14% Rage per second from her own shield. When she goes Wild, every inactive sphere wakes up for 5 seconds (8 at talent level 2). Cast Directive: Annihilate after the spheres are active, since it restores 20% Rage per active sphere and its cost drops by 1 for every 5 spheres activated. In recorded teams she sits mid-rotation after the opener and main carry, for example Artemis, Himiko, Talos in Arcane Wisdom, or Athena, Venus, Himiko, Lilith, Tyrfing, Talos in Wild Spirit. Directive: Shield goes to the ally with the highest Rage, which in Wild Spirit teams is often Athena or Tyrfing after they spend HP; the Rage regeneration then pushes them into Wild. Shield Overload at Divinity level 6 adds Excitement to that shield.
Good Teammates
- Athena (SSR EX) – Athena spends 40% of current HP on Martial Verdict, which makes her the highest-Rage target for Directive: Shield and its 14% Rage per second into Wild.
- Tyrfing (SSR+) – Tyrfing sacrifices HP to fight in Wild, so Directive: Shield's Rage regeneration and Crit Up land on Talos's main Wild Spirit carry.
- Artemis (SSR EX) – Artemis opens Arcane rotations before Talos, and Directive: Recharge shortens the wait for her next Darkmoon Embrace, the team's ranged Haste and damage buff.
- Himiko (SSR+) – Himiko shares both factions and, like Talos's Directive: Attack, spends Awakening from allied Overdrives, so both gain from the faster Overdrive cycle Recharge creates.
- Tamamo (SSR+) – Tamamo enters Wild at max Rage, so Directive: Shield speeds her there, and the two share damage duty in recorded Sanctum and Wild lineups.
Keywords in brackets are explained in the status effect glossary.
Should You Invest?
Diamond is listed as required (18 copies) for Talos to reach her full value, so she is a heavy investment. Divinity: Arcane Attack or Arcane Crit at level 2, Arcane Haste at 4 (it fires each time an ally consumes Awakening), Haste Enhancement or Crit Enhancement at 5, and Shield Overload at 6. Spirit Elixir Flask is her exclusive relic; Star Crystal Greatsword is the stand-in. Subclass: Astrologer for a support build (16-25 Haste for 20% less skill damage) or Grand Archmage for damage. Gear: Crit Damage or Haste sets with Magic and Judgment pieces. Free players who cannot reach Diamond can still run her as an Astrologer support.
Talos FAQ
- Is Talos worth pulling?
- Yes. She is T0 and appears in Arcane Wisdom, Wild Spirit and even Sanctum Glory teams. Her cooldown cuts and Rage support help almost any lineup, though her full value needs Diamond.
- What star level does Talos need?
- Diamond is listed as required, which takes 18 copies. Below that she still works as a cooldown support, but her T0 rating assumes heavy investment.
- What is the best relic for Talos?
- Spirit Elixir Flask, her SSR+ exclusive. In Wild she gains 40% Attack and ignores 15% Magic Defense, Directive: Shield also covers your highest-Attack ally and refunds 1 Overdrive Point when broken, and at Divinity 3 Recharge also targets that ally and grants permanent Attack stacks. Star Crystal Greatsword is the stand-in.
- Who gets Talos's first Directive: Recharge?
- With talent level 7 it fires at battle start on the ally with the highest Skill Haste, excluding Talos. After that each cast picks a random ally, so the first cast is the only one you can plan around.
