Hitomi Dragon Traveler Build & Guide
Chaos Warlord
Overview
Hitomi is an SSR+ Warrior who links to the highest-Attack ally in her column, and the pair gain 15% of each other's Attack and defenses. Every active skill hit from that ally stacks Nether Sight, which doubles at 20 stacks and is shared with the linked carry. Her own Overdrive adds three heavy dash slashes, and more in the Wild state.

Talent: Bloodbound Link
- Lv 1
At the start of the battle, Hitomi establishes a Link with the ally Luminary in the same column with the highest Attack. Hitomi and the linked ally Luminary gain 15% of each other's Attack, Physical Defense, and Magic Defense. When the linked ally Luminary deals active skill damage to the current target, Hitomi gains 1 stack of Nether Sight. Each stack of Nether Sight increases Attack, Physical Defense, and Magic Defense by 0.8-1.28%. When reaching 20 stacks, the bonuses provided by Nether Sight are doubled.
- Lv 2
Whenever self or an ally Luminary with Link gains a Blessing Buff, restores HP equal to 30% of Attack plus 30% of Physical Defense and Magic Defense.
- Lv 3
Increases HP by 10% and Attack by 5%.
- Lv 4
Each time an ally Luminary with Link enters the Wild state, removes all Next Overdrive Energy Cost Increase effects from them, and grants immunity to Next Overdrive Energy Cost Increase effects while in the Wild state.
- Lv 7
Upon reaching 20 stacks of Nether Sight, allied Luminaries with Link gain 40% of the corresponding 20 stacks of Nether Sight Attack and PDEF & MDEF bonuses. If the Luminary is in the Wild state, it is increased to 80%.

Our Take on Hitomi
Hitomi is T1. She works like a Warrior version of Vivienne: Bloodbound Link ties her to your carry, the two trade 15% of their Attack and defenses, and the carry's active skill hits build Nether Sight, which doubles at 20 stacks and at talent level 7 is shared with the carry (80% if it is in Wild). Multi-hit carries stack it fastest, which is why she pairs so well with Apollo, Mimir and Lilith. Omen of Chaos adds a heavy extra hit and a Blessing Buff for her and the link every time she hits a new target. In the Colosseum, the Lilith and Hitomi pairing is one of the fastest rotations around. Pull her if you play Sanctum Glory or Wild Spirit.
Strengths
- +Bloodbound Link shares 15% of Attack, Physical Defense and Magic Defense both ways, so the linked carry hits harder and survives better.
- +Nether Sight stacks from the linked ally's active skill hits, doubles at 20 stacks, and from talent level 7 passes 40% of the bonus (80% in Wild) to the carry.
- +Omen of Chaos deals 650-1070% of Attack plus the same share of her defenses to each new target and gives her and the linked ally a random Blessing Buff, which feeds Grace.
- +Talent level 4 strips Next Overdrive Energy Cost Increase effects from a linked ally entering Wild and keeps it immune while Wild.
Weaknesses
- −The link goes to the highest-Attack ally in her column, so a careless formation layout links the wrong unit.
- −She needs a multi-hit carry; carries that land a few big hits build Nether Sight slowly.
- −Fourfold Chaos Surge costs 10% of current HP, so she leans on healing support in long fights.
- −Diamond is the recommended star level, which is a heavy investment.
How to Play Hitomi
Set up the link before anything else. Put Hitomi in the same column as your carry and make sure that carry has the highest Attack in the column. In Sanctum Glory she is usually linked to Apollo to raise the damage ceiling; Tamamo is another option in single-target lineups. Vivienne also possesses the highest-Attack ally in her own column, so give Vivienne and Hitomi different carries. Her Overdrive comes last in both example orders: Mimir, Vivienne, Hela, Ophelia, then Hitomi in Sanctum Glory, and Huginn & Muninn, Venus, Lilith, Tyrfing, Prometheus, then Hitomi in Wild Spirit. By then the carry has stacked Nether Sight and Omen of Chaos has handed out Blessing Buffs, and the Lord subclass turns each buff into 30-39% Overdrive damage. Demonbane Flurry's three dashes prioritise enemies not yet slashed, and each new target triggers Omen of Chaos again. In Wild she adds up to 3 more dashes, and Chaos Warlord at divinity level 6 doubles Omen of Chaos's damage in Wild. Tempest of Chaos adds a launching tornado in Grace, so a Fervor source helps her too. In both PvE and PvP, the Elven Greatshield relic's 68% starting Damage Reduction carries her through the opening exchanges.
Good Teammates
- Apollo (SSR EX) – Solar Arrow Stream fires 30 arrows, so Apollo stacks Nether Sight quickly, and Hitomi is usually linked to Apollo in Sanctum Glory teams.
- Mimir (SSR+) – Cyclone Slash hits a single target 20 times, building Nether Sight very fast, and Mimir opens the Sanctum Glory order that Hitomi closes.
- Lilith (SSR+) – Lilith shares Wild Spirit, Song of Extinction hits three times, and the pair is a standout fast Colosseum rotation.
- Tyrfing (SSR+) – Tyrfing enters Wild, which raises the shared Nether Sight bonus to 80% at talent level 7 and makes Tyrfing immune to Overdrive cost increases at level 4.

Should You Invest?
Diamond is the recommended star level. For divinity take Health Enhancement at level 1, Wild Attack at level 2, Health Enhancement at level 3, Wild Physical Defense at level 4, Break Up at level 5 and Chaos Warlord at level 6. Her relic is Elven Greatshield, which starts at 68% Damage Reduction and loses 3.4% per active skill hit, down to 13.6%. Gear is four Attack pieces with Penetration and Purge, or Magic Defense pieces for a sturdier build, and Lord is the subclass for Overdrive damage. Free-to-play players get value well before Diamond, since the link works from talent level 1.
Hitomi FAQ
- Who should Hitomi link with?
- Bloodbound Link picks the ally in her column with the highest Attack, so you choose by placement. Multi-hit carries are best, because each active skill hit on the current target adds Nether Sight: Apollo, Mimir and Lilith all fit. Keep Vivienne on a different carry, since she also picks the highest-Attack ally in her column.
- Is Hitomi worth pulling?
- Yes for Sanctum Glory and Wild Spirit players. She is T1, adds damage and defense to your carry through the link, and still hits hard herself. Because she fits both factions, she rarely sits unused.
- What star level does Hitomi need?
- Diamond is recommended for her full value. The link, Nether Sight and Omen of Chaos all work earlier, so she is useful before then, but plan for Diamond if she is a core unit.
- Hitomi or Vivienne?
- They do similar jobs from different slots. Vivienne is a Priest who possesses a carry for shields, Attack and healing, while Hitomi is a Warrior who shares stats and deals heavy damage herself. Strong Sanctum Glory teams run both, each linked to a different carry.
